Top Dressing
The Top Dressing Process
Your product is delivered using a 24-inch wide smooth rubber belt conveyor, allowing for precise application ranging from 50 pounds to 3 tons per acre. The spreading is efficiently managed by the patented G4 spinning system, initially designed for agriculture and adapted for turf.
Four heat-treated fins, rotating at 675-900 rpm, handle spreading, achieving a 45-50 ft drive center with the unique material divider and back plate assembly. This design minimizes passes per acre, reducing play disruption and soil compaction. A distinctive center divider plate ensures equal material placement on slopes, maintaining control even on hillsides, unlike older spreader designs.
Rate control is executed by the Rawson Mark series valve, the industry's fastest, capable of transitioning from fully open to fully closed in just 0.6 seconds. The hydraulic control, responding instantly to vehicle speed changes, is synchronized with a microwave speed sensor for constant ground speed transmission, ensuring precise application rates. An industry-first Global Positioning Guidance System utilizes GPS technology to optimize driving patterns, minimizing overlaps, and virtually eliminating skips. This system allows for seamless resumption of applications days later, eliminating guesswork associated with outdated foam marking systems.
Our commitment is evident in the substantial investment made in cutting-edge equipment, technology, and skilled staff to provide you with the fastest and most accurate application available. Experience the difference by giving our service a try.
